Job Title: Foreman

 

Job Summary:

 

The Foreman is responsible for leading and overseeing field crews on helical pile and foundation construction projects. This field-based role ensures projects are planned, equipped, and executed safely, efficiently, and according to scope. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and field management skills to support both the crew and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Field Execution & Leadership

  • Lead daily operations, ensuring crews understand the project plan, sequencing, and safety protocols.

  • Oversee tooling, equipment readiness, and logistical needs.

  • Enforce production standards, work quality, and jobsite safety.

 

Crew Support & Development

  • Mentor crew members, providing clarity on tasks and expectations.

  • Offer guidance to promote accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

 

Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to relay jobsite status, material needs, and scheduling updates.

  • Identify scope changes or delays early and communicate them effectively.

  • Ensure field data (e.g., torque logs, pile records, daily reports) is consistently recorded and submitted.

 

Client Management & On-Site Representation

  • Represent Bron & Claude professionally on-site as the primary point of contact.

  • Maintain clear communication with clients and contractors, offering updates and real-time solutions.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to align field execution with project expectations.

 

Schedule & Project Delivery

  • Understand the full project schedule and drive crews to meet milestones.

  • Maintain focus on safety, quality, and professionalism across all phases.

  • Escalate issues that could impact budget, schedule, or execution quality.

 

Requirements:

​​​

  • Proven experience as a field leader or foreman in civil or foundation construction.

  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and helical pile installation.

  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Reliable, organized, and proactive with a strong sense of accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

​

  • Experience on projects involving helical piles, deep foundations, or industrial civil scopes.

  • OSHA certification or other safety training credentials.

  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as daily logs, torque logs, and field data collection platforms.

​

Working Conditions:

​

  • Primarily field-based, with exposure to various weather conditions and jobsite environments.

  • Requires physical activity, standing for extended periods, and managing equipment and personnel.
