Job Summary:

The Field Supervisor oversees daily on-site operations, ensuring that projects are executed according to schedule, quality standards, and safety protocols. This role involves managing field crews, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring that resources are used efficiently to meet project goals. The Field Supervisor plays a key role in troubleshooting on-site challenges, maintaining communication with all stakeholders, and enforcing safety standards. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for this role to ensure smooth and effective field operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations at the project site, ensuring that all activities are carried out according to project plans and specifications.

Crew Management: Supervise field crews, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high productivity and quality standards.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards and ensure that all personnel follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Resource Coordination: Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure that resources are available when needed.

Communication: Maintain regular communication with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and challenges.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.

Reporting: Provide daily or weekly progress reports to project managers, detailing work completed, delays, and any concerns.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a field supervisor or similar role in construction or related industries.

Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in large-scale construction projects or industrial settings.

Certifications in safety, such as OSHA 30-hour training.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and tools.

Working Conditions:

Primarily field-based, with exposure to outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

Physical stamina required, including the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
